Small, left-over eatery ... With food + drink menu. For a longer stay better book a table, as the space is limited. But if you find a place'l ... can find quiet hours with good hospitality.

There my mother celebrated her birthday. There was awesome food and a lot of choice and it was cozy and informal. There is also a wide range of whiskey.

Best pub in Kaufbeuren with a very nice host, who is well versed in whiskey. The Schnitzel are a dream, also the Kaiserschmarrn is highly recommended.

We had reserved it here in early October, following our 40-year school graduation party and were all super happy in this rustic and very cozy place. The friendly staff had their hands full, because the Platzl was full, but she coped perfectly and we got our drinks pretty fast and relatively quickly our food. Everything looked very well prepared on the plates. I had crispy schnitzel and it tasted gigantic. Perfect "crispiness", as the name promised. I am thrilled and if I come back to Kaufbeuren, then like to come back here. Thank you!
